We are located in Southfield, we're 30 minutes from Metro Detroit Airport. We're located at the major crossroads of three different freeways. Every Fortune 500 company that's in Metro Detroit is within 15 to 30 minutes of Lawrence Tech. So for our students finding employment in this area, especially relates to their majors, it's a great combination.
Now socially, in Southfield our city has purposely planned to have a lot of different restaurants and social activities that would make this experience here in Southfield better for our students. So if we have a bike share program on campus, you can use that bike to take you to anywhere in Southfield but also to the main public bus hub that can take you to Detroit, to Pontiac, to Ferndale, and our students can check out those bikes on campus and use them. And Detroit is just a great town. It's had a really great rebirth over the last 10 to 15 years.
There's all the things you might seek in terms of arts, music, sports, bookstores, it's all right there and we have a transit program we operate ourselves. So a student who maybe comes to Lawrence Tech without a car, it takes them around Southfield. It also has a loop that can take them down to Detroit. And from there they are right in the heart of all the downtown activities.
