So one of the great things about living in housing is it's a safe environment to grow and to learn. And so I've seen a lot of students come into housing and they just kind of blossom into student leaders and I see them really get engaged with their classes and their coursework. It's a really great place and it's a safe environment to be a college student. There is a lot of learning and development that happens in the residence halls.
So if you're a first year student here, you're going to begin an East housing. It is traditional dorm style in a lot of people's viewpoints. Which means they have a room that they're in with another roommate. With that they share community spaces. But then there's also little spaces for study. There's spaces for socializing. We have a music room here, we have a video room, there's opportunities for those students to branch out and meet other people in the building itself. After that we have one more community style building on campus, but then the other ones are apartment style. So usually we see our juniors and our seniors, they choose the apartment style. The difference there for them is usually they got their clique of friends or the group that they hang out with so they room in their apartments with as they get a little bit older and want some independent lifestyle, that's what the apartments allow.
We do a lot of fun stuff in the buildings as well. We have Resident Assistants on each floor who are there to support the residents as well as provide fun and engaging programs and activities. We also have, you know, different common area spaces where students will get together they'll play board games, video games, or just kind of hang out at nights and on weekends. So we have a lot of great opportunities for for fun on campus for sure.
