Lawrence Tech University is in a premium location, especially for engineering students because within a few miles there's companies for mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, robotics, biomedical, so it's very attractive for our students. By the time our students graduate from the College of Engineering, 92% of them have some type of an experiential learning experience. So it's very important for our students because our motto is theory and practice, so our students learn the theory in the classrooms, and they get to apply what they learned through these internships, or co-ops, or their research projects that they do in our state of the art labs, or through the competition teams that they practice.
At Lawrence Tech, the College of Engineering has an amazing facility. We have what's called Center for Innovative Materials Research. And inside CIMR, you have facility, and you have equipment, and you have instrumentation. For example, the fire loading chamber. That's a full scale testing facility that can simulate what happened in 9/11. So students would have also we call a Fab Lab, where they can go inside the Fab Lab and fabricate any components or structures you would like to test. So at Lawrence Tech, our major goal, our main focus, our main objective is around students to create the best, the most rounded engineer that will hit the ground running.
