At Lawrence Tech, we have over 30 athletic teams. So there's pretty much a sport for each and every person, anything from dance and band all the way up to your major sports like football and basketball. So there's an opportunity for student athletes around the country to come here and get a great education and get to play their sport while they're here.

Successful student athletes at Lawrence Tech put their education first and their sports second. They prioritize their schoolwork first, above all, and their athletic experience second. While we love our sports and we want to do our best at the end, we know that without our education and being successful in the classroom, we won't be able to play the sport that we love.

Professors at Lawrence Tech actually are looking for more student athletes in their class. Our coaches do a good job of recruiting a student first athlete second. We're looking for kids that are serious about their education because at the end of the day, they're going to be leaders in our community. So they're looking for those students that are serious about getting a great education and getting to play at the next level. Now, what kid doesn't want to play four more years of their sport. It's great opportunity for them.
