The Lawrence Tech University's College of Business and Information Technology, we develop the whole student. So I can guarantee you that you will learn the core business of marketing, finance, accounting, information technology and general business, but we're going to develop the whole person so that you are intellectually, socially, morally, informed and nurtured to be a real effective manager and leader, no matter what you do.
We have a small student to faculty ratio of 11 students to 1 faculty member. You enter that classroom, you're with your faculty member, and they can be there to help you understand the theories, the concepts, the practice. You're going to need letters of recommendation, and how to do your deliverables. And we're very responsive to our students.
We have the highest accreditation that a business school can get in the world. It's called AACSB, which stands for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. And we are in the top 5% of business schools worldwide.
In my four years at Lawrence Tech, I was challenged in multiple ways. Each professor sees your potential but wants you to go above and beyond that. So for example, in my marketing classes, we had various projects, whether it was marketing research or creating campaigns, and the professor will look at your work and challenge you to be better and will recommend different ways that you can improve and they want your final output to be your best work.
