The LTuZone offers you an option to receive a laptop from the university which becomes tailored to your specific major. It comes loaded with all of your industry standard software which you would need for your classes and general projects. And the Help Desk provides support so that you don't have to worry about hindering your studies during your time at LTU.
I believe the laptop program is one of the stronger assets that we supply our students. By allowing the student to have full access to all the software that will be a part of their practice one day once they graduate, we allow our students to develop a conversation with that software. It allows our students to collaborate more readily. Our faculty have the same software. And that just encourages collaboration and dialogue in a way that couldn't be achieved without the laptop program and the incredibly valuable software that's embedded within it.
Along with the LTuZone laptop initiative we do offer a lot of online resources. We also offer, there's an e-learning department at LTU that provides knowledge and instruction for students who are looking for more detailed answers for some of the software that they're using or some of the programs that they're using.
